Anticipating U.S. involvement in World War I, Glenn Curtiss and Carl Fisher opened the Curtiss Flying School on Miami Beach in December 1916 to train Army cadets. It’s interesting to note that the first task of a student pilot back then was the requirement to assemble the aircraft they were to fly. Good thing they weren’t training in 787s!
Whether you are a seasoned pilot, new to the world of aviation, or just interested in watching the weather, a METARmaps™ Mini deserves a place of honor on your desk or wall.
You can PERSONALIZE your METAR map by adding the Company Logo upgrade! Volume discounts available. Limited wall space? No problem! Add our sturdy and attractive desk stand.
